[Exclusive] Ian "Kid Zoom" Strange - Suburban

Ian "Kid Zoom" Stranges' biggest and best (so far) exhibition hits the National Gallery of Victoria on the 26th July. Stranges' "all consuming" Suburban exhibition finds its feet in his childhood home first reconstructed to scale on Cockatoo Island before spreading its wings through America and the greater suburbia.

From New York to New Hampshire, Ohio to Detroit and Alabama and home Suburban exhibits eight large scale photographic and mixed media installations.

David Hurlston, Curator of Australian Art at the NGV, is excited to hold the exhibition as Ian fast becomes "recognised, both locally and internationally ... for his new and unique body of work."

But don't take their word for it, go have a squizz and see for yourself just how awesome Ian Strange is.

Suburban opens 26th July at the Ian Potter Gallery of the National Gallery of Victoria till 15th September 2013. Free Entry!
